— The Brunswick Community College men’s basketball team is 11-2 at the holiday break after a 98-78 win over St. Petersburg at Polk State in Winter Haven, Florida, on Saturday as five Dolphins scored in double figures including Linwood Rowe (17), Alius Bowser (14), Blake Bartney (14), Zion Gardner (13) and Darius Kane (11).
— Hawaii rallied to top California, 35-31, in the Hawaii Bowl after trailing, 21-0, as Luke Weaver passed to Nick Cenacle for a 22-yard touchdown with 10 seconds left.
— In an NFL tripleheader today, Dallas visits Washington (Netflix, 1 p.m.), Minnesota hosts Detroit (Netflix, 4:30 p.m.) and Denver plays at Kansas City (Amazon TV, 8:15 p.m.).
— The East Carolina football team is scheduled to attend the Cowboys-Commanders game as the Pirates take on Pitt in the Military Bowl in Annapolis on Saturday (ESPN, 11 a.m.).
