— East Carolina swept its season series with Old Dominion with a 19-9 win in seven innings in Norfolk on Tuesday night as Jeff Sabater had three hits and three RBIs.

— No. 2 UNC downed visiting High Point, 9-2.

— Philadelphia and Portland each evened their first round NBA playoff series at 1-1 with road wins. The 76ers topped host Boston, 111-97, and the visiting Trailblazers edged San Antonio, 106-103, as the Spurs played most of the game without Victor Wembanyama due to a concussion.
