— Host Miami downed Atlanta, 12-0, as members of the East Carolina baseball team were on hand. Marlins manager Clayton McCullough and Miami corner infielder Connor Norby are former ECU players. The Pirates begin play in the American Conference tournament in Clearwater on Friday. Norby’s younger brother, Ethan, is a left-handed starting pitcher for ECU.
