Jude Surigao of West Brunswick signed to play football for Campbell on national signing day Wednesday.

Surigao helped the Trojans to a 7-5 season in 2025 that included a 6-A playoff win.

He was named to the Carolina Coast Conference first team after making 23 catches for 499 yards with five touchdowns as a senior.

“Jude has started for three years for us at tight end,” said West coach Shane Handy. “He has done an incredible job on both sides of the ball.

“His ability to catch and run with the ball is exceptional while being a very physical player. Jude will have a great career at Campbell University.”

The Camels are coming off a 2-9 season that included a 2-6 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association. Campbell led in the second half in all six of its league losses.

Surigao’s dad, John Surigao, has been an assistant coach for the Trojans. The older Surigao played at UNC in the first Mack Brown coaching era.
