West Brunswick improved to 4-0 in softball on Wednesday night as Brooke Somers doubled to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a 6-5 win over visiting East Columbus.
The Trojans are scheduled to host East Bladen on Friday at 6 p.m.
Pressley Wilson pitched a complete game Wednesday for West. She allowed seven hits and five runs (two earned) with four walks and nine strikeouts.
The Trojans got two hits with a triple and two RBIs from Kady Long. Somers had two hits with two doubles and two RBIs.
